In the whirlwind of a new baby, the one person who tends to get forgotten is you. But your body has just done something extraordinary, and it deserves gentle, patient care as it heals.
As a physiotherapist, I want you to hold on to two things above all. Recovery is not a race. And so much of what you might be quietly worrying about, the leaking, the soft tummy, the aches from feeding, is common, and treatable. You do not have to simply live with it.
