Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what information BuddingWonders (operated by GenX Ventures, A-29 Gulmohar Park, New Delhi — 110049, India) collects when you use buddingwonders.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain English and is meant to be read, not skimmed past.
1 — Information we collect
When you join, sign in, download a guide, or contact us, we may collect:
- •Your name, email address and WhatsApp number
- •Your country and city, so we can show local pricing and guidance
- •Your journey stage (trying to conceive, pregnancy week, or your child's age) and the related date you share with us
- •Payment status and transaction references (never your full card details)
- •Messages you send us, including on WhatsApp
When you browse the site, we also automatically collect standard technical information — your device and browser type, approximate location (country/city level), pages visited, and how you arrived at the site — through cookies and similar technologies described below.
2 — How we use your information
- •To add you to the right stage-specific WhatsApp circle
- •To send you guidance timed to your pregnancy week or your child's age
- •To process your membership payment and manage your subscription
- •To deliver guides you request and to respond to your messages
- •To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it
- •To measure the effectiveness of our advertising, where we run it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3 — Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics (via Google's gtag.js) to understand how visitors find and use the site — for example which pages are read most and where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your IP address (which may be truncated/anonymised by Google), device type and browsing behaviour on our site. This information is processed by Google under its own privacy policy.
If we run advertising on Google or Meta platforms, those platforms may use cookies, pixels or similar technologies to measure conversions (for example, whether someone who saw an ad later joined) and to show our ads to people likely to find them relevant. We do not share your health-related information — such as your pregnancy stage or your child's age — with advertising platforms for ad targeting.
You can control or opt out of this in several ways:
- •Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies (the site will still work)
- •Install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on
- •Adjust your ad personalisation settings in your Google and Meta account settings
4 — WhatsApp
Our circles run on WhatsApp, so if you join, your name and phone number will be visible to other members of your circle, and your messages there are governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy and encryption. We ask all members to keep what is shared in the circle private, but please share only what you are comfortable sharing with a group.
5 — Payments
Payments are processed securely by Razorpay (and, for some regions, Stripe). We never see or store your full card or bank details — those go directly to the payment processor, which handles them under its own security and privacy standards. We receive only a confirmation, a transaction reference, and the last few digits where needed for support.
6 — Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers who help us run BuddingWonders:
- •Our hosting and database provider (to store your account and membership)
- •Razorpay and Stripe (to process payments)
- •Google (analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement)
- •WhatsApp/Meta (to run the circles you choose to join)
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our members. Some of these providers process data outside India; where they do, they are bound by their own contractual and legal safeguards.
7 — How long we keep your information
We keep your membership information for as long as your membership is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle billing questions, refunds and legal obligations. If you cancel and would like your data deleted, just ask — see below.
8 — Your rights and choices
You can, at any time:
- •Ask us what personal information we hold about you
- •Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
- •Ask us to delete your account and personal information
- •Opt out of non-essential messages (payment and service notices may still be sent)
To do any of these, message us on WhatsApp or email aishwarya.ravishankar@gmail.com. We respond to every request personally within 5 working days.
9 — Children's privacy
BuddingWonders is a service for parents, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Information about your child (such as age or stage) is provided by you, the parent, and used only to personalise your guidance.
10 — Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we treat your information with the care we'd want for our own families.
11 — Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify active members via WhatsApp or email before the changes take effect, and we will update the date at the top of this page.
12 — Contact
Questions about this policy or your data? Write to aishwarya.ravishankar@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp. We're parents too, and we take this seriously.
