Our story
We built this because we needed it.
We're two parents. We had our first child far from home — in a city where the nearest family member was a six-hour flight and a visa application away. We did what most new parents do: we Googled.
And what we found was an enormous, exhausting amount of advice — half of it Western, half of it Indian, almost none of it written for someone holding both at once. The American app told us to sleep-train at 4 months. Our mother told us to give honey for the cough. The NHS leaflet didn't mention nazar, but our mother-in-law called twice a day to ask if we'd done it.
We weren't looking for someone to take a side. We were looking for someone who understood that both made sense, and could help us figure out what to do tonight, at 2am, with a baby who wouldn't settle.
That person didn't exist. So we started building it.
The right information, at the right time, so no parent misses a step — or feels alone in the middle of one.
BuddingWonders is a small, moderated community. We're slow on purpose. We'd rather have 200 parents who feel held than 20,000 who feel marketed to. We charge a one-time ₹199 joining fee because it keeps the community small and serious — and it's the only number we promise will never feel transactional.
If any of that sounds like what you've been looking for, we'd love to have you in the circle.
